I run a channel rushing script where people can come in type !rushme and get a free rush, however I have a specific d2 account whose trying to hold bot so no one gets rushes, my question is is there anything I can put in my dbj file as to where it will not accept commands coming from a specific d2 account?
Hmm… can’t you just put the account in your d2 ignorelist?
How does one do that?
To ignore a specific character: /ignore charname
. To ignore an entire account: /ignore *accountname
. You can check what account a character has with /whois charname
. To ignore messages with the f-word: /filtermsg f-word
.
Since version 1.13d, ignores are saved between sessions in the “ignorelist” file (creating it if it doesn’t exist) in the D2 program folder, although this feature may have to be turned on with /ignorepersist
.
Begin the commands with /un
to remove ignores, or edit the file manually with a text editor, the syntax is simple.
charname
*accountname
!f-word
PS: Every now and then, someone puts togheter an ignorelist with all the latest commerial messages from spam bots, which is nice to “install” (just add the text to your file).
spam bots were caught by battle.net spam filter since May 2017. Most of old expressions included in old shared ignorelist files are useless atm.
if it’s a public channel, did you try to set it private and to share it only to trusted accounts?
Has the channel rushing script its own shitlist?
