About pickit and scripts additions

I propose to post your scripts pitkit, additions to the scripts. using github is not convenient.

github.com is a safe and unpaid way to have those pickits and script improvements shared and as well it allows the contribution of other users.
pastebin.com is another way to post any script.

Files posted on old d2 bot sites like blizzhackers.cc and projectetal.com were finally vanished. Some of the old pages can be found on webarchive, but not all of them.

why?
pull-request and issues topics are easy to complete.
If you wanna contribute to pickits and documentation, you can be a part of bh organization anytime.

check https://github.com/blizzhackers/pickits repository

because, the search for scripts and solutions takes a lot of time, the information is not structured. It is impossible to use 100% ready-made solutions and scripts.

all this work is a volunteer work, depending on the free time of anyone involved.

there isn’t a comprehensive manual to play with d2 bots, and there are a lot of playing ways preferred by users.

Dear mf22, I find it difficult to talk with you, since your answers do not have logic. You are volunteers well, in your free time is normal. Nobody accuses you of anything, you do not need to make excuses. The forum was simply offered scripts catalogs ready. In projectetal, all information was cataloged and structured. There is no desire and possibility, no problem. In pastebin.com, 90% of all scripts and script are not signed, anonymous, erroneous or not incomprehensible.
Summing up my message, I want to say, no need to say why you can or can not do it. Either do it or not. Nobody makes you. No need to convince me of your opinion
With respect

This site is at its beginning, and unfortunately only 91 of the remaining fans of d2 bots community are actually registered here atm.
Actually on discord channel there are 2.3 k registered users. You can find a lot of tips and other useful things shared there.

I suppose that anyone who really want to share his pickits or his modded scripts, he can do this easily, on multiple ways.

Some time ago I recovered on the github one of my previous pages posted on etal wiki, d2bs_misc_options. Also my pastebin is still public shared and updated from time to time, even I removed the d2nt part from it. Unfortunately I didn’t play d2 for a while, although I kept an eye on d2 bot community.

@noah posted several times public invitations for joining the github blizzhackers organization for anyone who wanna improve the d2bs documentation and pickits.

Some of the modded scripts are shared and posted on the https://github.com/kolton/d2bot-with-kolbot/pulls, and if those changes are approved they will be merged into the main repository, becoming accessible for any d2bs user. Even in the closed section you can find interesting mods.

Your mentioned comparison was about a private site supported by donations, and which was built by a lot of people involved as staff or support users.
In the latest years (2016-2018) I had reasons to doubt the judicious use of donations by the admin (so called @Ethic), so finally after 2018’s Halloween that site can be found only on webarchive.
In those years I was among the few who updated there the old info for d2nt. Now, looking backwards most of it seems like a wasted time.

I have the projectetal archive wiki pages saved as text, but until now I recovered only a few of them on the github, like NipGuide and others referring to different d2bs wiki pages posted by me on 2018.
There is a lot of work to do for structuring better the whole documentation and time is not always our ally.
