TCP/IP Game Mode Restart Issue

I’m having an issue every time a run is complete, it closes and restarts the entire d2 program instead of exiting and remaking. I wouldn’t care so much because everything else is working just fine, but the issue with it crashing and restarting is that it “rolls back” the experience they have gained.

Is there a way to fix this issue? I wanted to try setting a quit delay on the the bot so it just waits in game after killing diablo for a few seconds, but I’m not sure how.

Edit: I decided to use Open Battle.net instead but i’m getting this error message now.

I disabled Character Difference in d2botlead.dbj, but I’m guessing it has to do with the fact that in open battle.net both character level difference and max number players is disabled.

anyone have a clue how to disable both?

The starters don’t really handle open bnet or tcpip very well. Maybe someone can add support for this.

I am having this same issue and the tcp/ip version still is having issues. It will at least now exit to the host/join screen, but then the game restarts itself and any experience gained is gone.
