3 games with 2 players each or 1 game with 6 players?

I use VMs with 3 separate IPs, so I could avoid waiting in line with 3 separate games, or I could do one big game, clearing everything, on a single VM.

What is the consensus on this? /players 6 or 3 hammerdin/light sorc pairs killing everything in their respective games? What generally would yield more finds per hour?

I always believed that 2 players or more in one game is useless. I do 1 IP 8 games 1 players.

dont you get r/d with that setup?
i thought max is 20games per hour per IP?

It really depends on how fast your characters can kill and if you are focused on magicfinding, levelling, or on a balance of both. If focused on magicfinding, I suggest to hit all the level 85+ places and to have a separate cow portal opener and do cows, too. Have your cow opener sitting in town, so you do not lose the chance to continue to reopen the not so secret secret cow portal…

As for the max games, you are right that there appears to be a maximum amount of games a single char can make on an ip address. If you run two chars on the same ip, then you can only play half the number of games. I think Blizz penalizes us less if we are joining rather than making games. But, it is risky to tell your bot to join public games. Risk can be fun, but I only play hardcore, so it a huge risk.

My botting style is put every bot in together and play longer games. There are so many places with unique monster packs, all the chests in the Kurast areas, cows, and level 85+ areas. You can keep your bots very busy.in a single game.
