“D2BS is not responding… starting profile”

I installed fresh copy of kolbot with prereqs. After configuring both config file and profile and running Admin mode + Win 7 compat:

Bot will load but once clicking battle.net it will crash and resume cycle giving the console error of “D2BS is not responding… starting profile”

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

running VM on macos using windows 11.
