D2BS is not responding ... starting profile

d2bs is not responding… starting profile kolbot

what I did

  1. frame work thing : 32bit Version of Visual C++ 2010.
  2. start with admin
  3. version 1.14d
  4. set compatibility for Windows 7 (and 8)
  5. check svn(update lastest)

what can I do more to solve this problem?

  1. Are you sure that you can run the diablo II directly, from Diablo II shortcut, with -w parameter?

  2. Did you set your profiles according to https://github.com/blizzhackers/documentation/blob/master/d2bot/ManagerSetup.md/#create-a-profile?
    -w parameter is required on Windows 8/10, otherwise game will crash

EDIT:
One guy resolved it changing the location of Diablo II folder to the root of one drive (C:).

Some folders related to user account have by default some restrictions in windows.

That’s why I have recommended to change the location of Diablo II folder, or even for D2BS, avoiding desktop.
Usually on desktop you should have only the shortcuts to applications/programs.

I added that thing even in the kolbot download guide

VMWare > win7 > d2bot .

did you check the previous recommendations?

i follow it and do it again and again…and still got that problem…

now let it run in vmware and work fine.

my old pc win7 have not problem, but my new pc win10 so…lol
