haven’t used kolbot in forever, i keep getting this error when i start it up.
window has unexpectedly exited… starting profile
diablo 2 runs fine on my computer, the bot also runs fine.
ive tried disabling fire walls/anti virus. unfortunetly im on windows 10 home edition and cant access hyper-v so im kinda stuck as what to do next
i just upgraded my PC, idk if hardware has anything to do with it
might be an easy fix, how do i get d2bot to open diablo 2 window as administrator? i can see the diablo window pop up but something is canceling it out

Hi again. There are some things I can be helpful with.
Here is how to set your D2Bot.exe shortcut to open as an admin:
- right-click on the D2Bot.exe shortcut
- you can either choose to run D2Bot.exe as an admin right there and then
or…
- after right-clicking on D2Bot.exe’s shortcut
- click on properties
- click on the tab marked Shortcut
- now, click on the Advanced button
- enable the box that says: Run as administrator
- click OK
Now, everytime you start D2Bot.exe through its shortcut, it will run as an admin.

ok so this is what i did, i turned off all my firewalls and my anti virus ( im slowly gonna turn them back in and see what exactly it was)
then i went to windows security, exploit protection, exploit protection settings, clicked program settings on the top right and then i added a program to curstomize by path ( i added both my diablo.exe AND d2bot) i turned everything off except for “over ride system settings” and clicked the blue button and it worked. got it to load diablo and the maphack portion is working

Oh?! So, it may have been a similar, not exactly, but a similar issue to backwoodburner’s virus & firewall issues. Just make certain that Windows’ security allowances are solely for the d2bot app so that your computer is safe for your regular computer use.
It’s cool that you both figured it out! I ought to stick to making pancakes and coffee.
